Rhys Leif (pronounced rees leaf) has been a constant warrior for the various Princes of Orlando, battling vampire, spirit, and other strange occult threats for years. His quiet manner and subtle social connections make him a valuable ally for many members of the city. Although quite adjust to modern society, there are many beliefs and habits he still retains from his years as a Maasai Spirit Warrrior. A former student of Vermiis, a Crone Elder, Rhys has an unshakable faith in the ultimate nihilism that begins and ends with the dark mother.

Only recently after the insanity that was the first Orlando gathering in the Harvesting Month, Rhys has taken the mantle of Prince. Wearily though, it is overheard that he feels like a shackled warrior, stuck now as Border Patrol and no longer able to roam wild.


Brief Confirmed History:
The Elder known as Rhys Leif once went by the more native name of Pongwa Khadar (Which Translates to: "The First Born, Cured King"), claiming that he was cured from the pains and frailty of morality during the Spanish wars that hit the ports of Kenya. Though he is fully proud of his African heritage, it is obvious from his physical features that he is not fully African, but a mixture of African, Egyptian and Roman.

Mekhet whisper that he was once picked to be a Khaibit when he was Sired, but he never finished his training and was more interesting in poking and prodding his way through many human wars. He has a very extensive history, with many high status Kindred that whisper for his assistance during spiritual and other-worldly matters. He will fully admit that he isn't very political, of course any intelligent man will speak his opinion when asked, but much of the time, he resists the urge and does what any smart Mekhet does and fall to the background.

Rhys is a proud member of the CSDF (Carthian Self Defense Force) as well as P.P.I ( Paranormal Phenomena Investigation Bureau ), as well he is a Shield-Warden ( Hero / Valkyrja ) and Heriophant guard. Rhys will always comment to anyone who ask "My Faith is separate to my Political ideals. It is foolish to compare them."
