`echo says she "Came down from the Mountain" late 2006 with a letter for Felix. It was her Father's Last Will and Testament, and it left her to Felix as his personal property. Whatever else it says, he's never divulged and she doesn't seem to know. She was his Ward until his death in May, 2007.

Apparently she had trouble letting go, because she refused to accept that he was gone. She became obsessed with finding a way to resurrect him, saying that his murder was unjust and unfair. Others humored her, finding it easier than trying to convince her that it couldn't be done. Nobody believed that she would do it, not until it happened. Kheiron/Felix/Baal returned from the dead.

`echo says that first she consulted the Oracles, and what happened then she won't share except that it couldn't be done in that way. So she played to her strength as a Spirit Master and moved through the courts of Shadow, seeking those powerful enough to accomplish what she asked. She petitioned "The Baron" and other "Great Spirits" of Death and Justice, asking that they return her Master to the world of the living. She made a contract of some sort with these Spirits, something that carries with it the weight of Destiny, agreeing to pay a price without even knowing if her wish would be granted. She paid the price knowing it was the price for the request, and carried with it no guarentee that he would return.

Something went wrong, though, something she was too unfamiliar with human society and emotions to see coming. After all that she did to bring him back, she admitted that she was in love with him, and he rejected her. "All I got was a hug, and then he went back to Ildiko. I brought him back from the dead, and still I'm not good enough."

She feels responsible for the resulting chaos and violence that was his crusade against the agents of Kuromanku, and has been heard to say that she now regrets having brought him back. "If I had known what he would do, how many would die..."

In early 2008 she took Jimmy Hood-Wink as her Mentor. If her intent was to hurt Felix and Ildiko by becoming involved with someone who they openly declared an enemy... it seems to have worked. Felix announced that she is no longer his Ward, and `echo says that Ildiko banished her from the city.

She is now a member of the Orlando Consilium, serving as the Sentinel of Shadow "I do it anyway", and stays with Brigade... or at least keeps her stuff there, since she still doesn't like sleeping under a roof.

She's even considering joining an order, saying that she will either become a Guardian like Jimmy, or study under Solomon Kane to become an Arrow.
